This weekend we loaded up and went to Cedartown, Ga. to see Doug's family. It's usually about a five hour trip. We are so dependent on technology. We normally have a two-screen DVD player in the car with several DVDs. Well, it's not working. So I was alittle worried that the kids would go crazy. But to my surprise they were GREAT!!
We had a good time with the family too. The boys had a sleep-over at their cousin's house. And Sara K. got tons of attention, as usual. Shes started singing the"ABC.." song. We can actually understand her all the way to H!! Doesn't she look peaceful in the picture above.
I didn't take many pics this weekend. But I did snap this one, I couldn't resist.
Doug's dad is still hanging in there. He has slowed down a good bit. But seems to be in good spirit and has a pretty good appetite. Remember to still keep praying for them.
It did take us 6 hours to come home today. It's becoming a habit now to stop at a Hobby Lobby we past, to buy fabric! They have some awesome prints! I think we spent an hour in there. But it was OK because we went to McDonalds after that!!!
