9 years!!!!

This is the love of my life. Today we celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe it's been that long. (and still going strong!!) Sometimes I think about how my mom use to pray for my future husband. All that time she was praying for Doug. He is truly an answer to prayer. I couldn't ask for anyone better. He is so loving and understanding.
We met in May of 1999. I was drawn to him after about the second time seeing him. We went on our first date on August 4,1999. After about a month of dating I knew he was my first love and was going to be my only. We got engaged on his Bday, Jan. 29,2000. And married on August 5,2000.
We have never had a major fight (just a few mild disagreements!) and I pray we never do. I credit that to putting the Lord first in our lives. Without Him we would not know how amazing our love for each other really is, because God is amazing love.
