Hello! It's been a few weeks, I thought it was about time to catch all of you up on things. Life has been busy as usual. School, homework, piano lessons, choir rehearsals, doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, laundry, housework, mission friends..... just to give you an idea! And on top of it all I have been sewing and making custom t-shirt for friends on the side. I know, I'll stop all my whining and get on with the pictures!
My parents came for a visit a few weeks ago. It happen to workout that Sam had grandparent's day at school while they were here. So we went and I forgot the camera! He was so cute! And proud that his Granna and Papa were there!
We checked the boys out of school early and took them on a little fieldtrip to Landmark Park. If you have never been there you should check it out. But do it when it's not 90 degrees! This place is right up my Dad's ally. He is a small farmer, raised in the country and loves it! We always had cows, gardens, corn, hay, tractors, chickens and even a bunch of pigs at one time or another while I was growing up. We stayed a few hours ( in 90 degree heat!) so that tells you how much we all enjoyed it.
We all thought this tree was pretty neat, it was over 900 years old! But we read closer and realized it was a redwood ship in from somewhere out west.
My Dad is scratching it's belly and putting it to sleep!
We were able to get up close and personal with some wildlife. ( fortunately, they were either stuffed or behind glass!)
