This is how excited they were about our special weekend! We went down to Destin for a few days this past weekend. It felt SO good just to getaway! The kids would be happy just staying at the hotel watching TV and doing this.........
But we also played in the sand some.......
Anleigh enjoyed the wind blowing in her hair!
And we HAD to visit their favorite playground at Destin Commons.
On the way home we stopped by Eden Gardens State park. It's a beautiful homeplace in South Walton hidden among giant oak trees and right on the bay. The kids really enjoyed running around in the beautiful weather. And I experimented with the manual mode on my camera. It's something I want to learn, but definitely need lots of practice!
We really had a relaxing time ( if that's possible with 4 kids!) Oh by the way, how do you like the new blog design? I think it looks cleaner and more organized. Don't you?
