....... Going home and being with my family this thanksgiving. Sometimes many months go by without seeing my family, so it always feels good to go home for a visit. I love seeing the kids experience all the things I did when I was growing up like feeding the chickens, riding the tractor, four-wheeler rides in the woods, playing in the corn wagon, eating cornbread and
tators.
A lot of those things I still enjoy doing!
We had an awesome Thanksgiving feast. All the usual
fix'ns.....

Sweet
tator casserole
Collards
Uncle Jeremy rode the kids on his pimped out golf cart. It has a horn , radio, and rims!

Anleigh is getting more used to eating her
babyfood
but not quite ready for turkey and dressing!

I believe the kids most favorite part of the whole trip was shucking corn for the chickens

We also played some ball in the front yard

And of course, we watched the BIG game

And swallowed the bitter taste of defeat!

The boys had a first while we were there. They went hunting with Papa. Unfortunately, they did even see any deer. But I think Papa may have started a new Thanksgiving tradition.
