Granna and Papa's

Whew! I'm finally feeling somewhat caught up on all the things that got thrown off from fall break last week. It's amazing how much dirty laundry 6 people have! A few happenings from this week are: Luke got his first official report card Tuesday. He got all "O's ( "O" for outstanding!) We're very proud of him. Anleigh had her 4 month checkup Wednesday. She was 15 lbs, 1 oz and 25 3/4 in. She also got 2 shots :( But she's doing good and still happy as can be!

Now, about our fall break. Me and the kids headed to my parents after Luke's field trip on last Friday for 4 days. We really didn't do too much. My niece and nephew were there, so the kids enjoyed spending time with them. Oh, and we spent alot of time on the 4 wheeler and Uncle Jeremy's new golf cart!

We did squeeze a beach trip in on Monday. My parents live about 45 mins. from Pensacola Beach. My dad likes to fish with an cast net. So we tried to fish for mullet, we came home with 5 (thanks to Joe Pattie's Seafood!). The Gulf side beach is still being cleaned from the oil spill, so we didn't get on the gulf side. We did visit Fort Pickens. It an old military fort from the 1800s. It's really neat to walk around and think about what it must have been like back then. It's also kinda creepy !

We also went to Doug's mom's at the end of the week. And guess what? I forgot my camera! Luke celebrated his birthday while we where there. We got see our nephew play baseball. We had a great time. But let me say, it has felt so good to sleep in MY bed, and get back into our routine. I sound like an old person don't I??? Well, this granny is ready for bed, so good night!!!!
