Pizza & Sewing

I'm always looking for a quick simple fix for times I don't have time or feel like cooking a spread.
My crew absolutely loves pizza. I came across this recipe in a Southern Living mag.

It' s pretty hardy since you use loaf bread instead of a pizza crust. I have made it with chicken like the recipe, but the last time I made it I use whatever was in the fridge. Pepperoni, pre-cooked bacon, some left-over taco beef, I didn't have any shredded cheese so I used sliced cheese. it was YUMMY!( as you can see I buy ALOT of Great Value brand!)

The bug has bit me once again. I have been sewing some fall stuff for the girls. I found this funky fabric at our local Singer store. The skirt is actually a free pattern found HERE.
It is so simple, even if you've never sewn before you could do it. Anleigh's pant are the Riley pattern from Bonnie Blue.

I also found this great tutorial for this sweet little fabric flower clip. That whole website has alot of neat stuff. Back to the clip, I didn't really feel like hand-sewing the petals together, so I used a dot of hot glue while putting them together. I also skipped the felt and ribbon, and just glue the flower directly onto the clip. Lazy, I know, but it saved alot of time, and looks just as good! They would also look sweet pinned onto a shirt or dress.
This is an e-pattern I bought HERE.
The pattern has a small cap sleeve, but I wanted a longer sleeve, so I lengthen the sleeve a little, added a ruffle on the bottom, and added some ribbon .
I still have many ideas in my head for more sewing, if only I had more TIME!!!!!!!!
