FILTHY! Is the best way to describe our bedroom carpet! If you can believe this carpet was cleaned about 4 months ago! Up until a few months ago our bedroom was the place to be. All the kids gravitated there for some reason. As you can see the carpet has been trashed! spilled juice, throw-up, poop, you name it. So we had some dough left over from our tax refund and decided to use it on replace it with this:




If I ever build my dream house, I would love to have really dark, almost black, wood floors throughout. But I didn't think that would look too good with the rest of the flooring in this house. Hopefully, we won't be in this house forever, I'm sure we'll out grow this 1500 SF sooner that we want! So we thought about what was best for resale on the flooring color.

My parents are coming this weekend to help us put in the new floor. Doug and I plan on ripping the carpet out tomorrow. I think it will be a great stress relief, being able to do some demo! I'll have to show some "after" pics when we're done.
One thing I discovered while moving furniture is that I should vacuum under it! YUCK!!!!!

Enough with all that nastiness. Not much goes on around here while the boys are at school. They go from 8 to 11:30, so there's not much time to do anything. I usually take the girls for a walk, do some cleaning or run a few errands. SK has become obsessed with watching either Toy Story 2 or Curious George. Sometime more than once a morning.

Anleigh usually take a good nap in the morning which gives me time to get things done.

SK normally doesn't show Anleigh much attention, but this morning she was determined to put her babydoll's paci around Anleigh's neck.....

Fortunately she stop after realizing it wasn't gonna fit!

But she did think that Anleigh needed to start getting ready for fall....

The look in her eyes says it all. I stopped her before she did any damage !!!!!!
