This is what I've been up to the last two days. Even thought it's 7 weeks before our little Anleigh is expected to arrive, I have been in baby mode the last week or so. There are still little things you still need after having three!!!
I saw a tutorial for this frayed applique online and decided to try it on some burp clothes. Mainly because it is very simple and easy not to mess up! I got the Tutorial from HERE and the letter template from HERE
If your interested. I had the burp clothes left over from SK, and use scraps for the appliques. So it was a very low budget project!
I like having personalized burpies to take to church so they don't get mixed up with another baby's. I also worked on this diaper bag. I wasn't really planning on making her one, but I couldn't find one to buy, and I've made all the other babies one, so....
I plan on having her name monogrammed on it.
I enjoy sewing for the kids. I know one day they won't want my homemade matching outfits. That's the way I was when I became a teenager. Sorry mom, all those times you tried to teach me to sew, who knew I'd be sewing for my own kids!
