One thing that took up most of the weekend was that sewing project I mentioned in the last post. Probably about a year ago I found this cute smocked outfit($1.50) at the thrift store, but the back of it was covered with mildew stains. A thought hit me to rip out the smocked part, since it was in perfect condition, and make a new outfit. A friend at church once shared with me how to sew a insert into a t-shirt, so I use that same technique for this. The fabric I found on-line in a remnant bin($11.50 with s+h), it was already cut, just so happens it was the colors and length I needed! I used a dress pattern that had been handed down to me. I just shortened it to shirt length. The shorts are Bonnie Blue's Riley. Another pattern that someone shared with me! ANYWAYS,................

I have not totally mastered sewing the insert in, so it's alittle sloppy. But hey, who's gonna be able to tell on a two year old who doesn't stand still!!!!!

One last thing, my mom bought sk this shirt. But it should say,
"Ask Grandma before mom says no!" That what the boys usually do!!!!!
