Tonight we went to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home for their annual open house and live nativity. This is the 4th year we've been. I enjoy it because it's focused mostly on Jesus. Our kids get enough of that fat guy in the red suit from the world. We get so rapped up in all the gift giving, decorating, party going, goodies making, Christmas movie watching,{and much much more} that we forget about that beautiful baby boy. The One that was sent here to die for us. I can't imagine giving up one of my children for some sinful person I don't know. But I'm so thankful for a God who has a amazing, unconditional, unending love. One message that Doug is spreading this season is "Jesus is Christmas". It can't be said any simpler than that.
I could go on more about that, but I thought you would like to know about our doctor's appointment today. I'm definitely pregnant, and thankful with only one baby!! On the ultrasound that little booger was bouncing all around in there! I'm still 12 -13 weeks and due June 12. Everything was good and healthy. I read that this week the baby is the size of a large peach!
Here's some more pix from tonight:

These two were soooooo CUTE!!!!!

This is SK's first encounter with a donkey!

They had wagon rides, it would have been really neat with a little snow!

They REALLY enjoyed this{ even thought they had on 3 layers of clothes}!
