I've been working on sewing a dress this week. I usually like to do it start to finish in one day, but here lately that hasn't been possible! So yesterday SK was taking a morning nap, and the boys decided to put a puzzle together and I sewed. They spent about 40 mins on that puzzle, it was 60 pieces, I was honestly shocked that they did it. Maybe they're smarter that I give them credit for! They asked me to take a picture of the finished product. {and our filthy carpet!}

I tried this pattern a few months ago and the 18m ran really small. So I cut this one out in a 2. Oh by the way, SK had a checkup this morning, she was 26lb, 33&1/4 inches. Dr. Benak said she was big for 18m. She was in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th for height! Little chunky monkey!!!
Anyway, back to sewing, this pattern is from a new designer, Sandi Henderson. Her brand is called Portabella Pixie. This dress is the"Gracie". She also designs some gorgeous fabric. This pattern was fairly easy after a trial try the first time. I still have to do buttons and buttonholes, and take the hem up some more.
