Book Worms

OK, I am not a reader at all. I can't tell you the last "grown-up" book I've read. But I have decided that I want to do all I can to help my kids to love reading. A few months ago we went to get library cards. You have to be over 4 to get one, so Luke and I got one. Since then we have tried to go once a week(sometimes 2 weeks) and check out some books. I usually let them pick, but sometimes I see books from my childhood that I want them to see. We have been getting 12 books each visit. In the past few months we've probably read over 80 books!!!! They get so excited to read those special ones they picked out. I hope they stay excited and I can keep this up!

We've really liked this one. Of course Luke picked this one because he LOVES trains!!!!

I absolutely despise this book. If you've ever watched Teletubbies you know what I'm talking about. But, Sam has been looking for this book for the last month. We checked it out probably 3 months ago and he loved it so much he wanted it again!
