Do you know what this is???? Well, if you ask Luke he'll tell you it's "shiny berries". They are actually China berries. For some reason he interpreted shiny for china! You may wonder what this is all about? When I was younger me and my mom read that Indian's boiled these down and used the seed as beads for jewelry. We tried it out, and they have holes in them just like beads! So while my parents were here we noticed we have a china berry tree in our backyard. my mom was wanting to make some necklaces, so all the kids got out and helped her pick up berries. Even SK got in on the action!
So far today has been glorious! Doug had a lunch meeting, so me and the kids had Happy Meals at the park for lunch. Get outside, this weather is AWESOME!!!!!!!
